Casual Meeting

I’ve had multiple jobs from 4 years old on, maple syrup gathering, paper route, lawn cutting business, and a member of a Episcopal paid men and boys’ choir. Struggling financially with a divorced older Mom, all of that helped. Learned how to collect money with a paper route and a great lesson learned, do quality and it work pays. I made about 35 bucks a week, but my tips for Christmas week were more than $250 extra. Locked in early in that my satisfaction was in entrepreneurial adventures. First real job Chrysler Aerospace Cape Kennedy valve panel designs for Saturn 1B launch tower. Last engineering job electromechanical packaging designer for a electronic warfare division. Magnavox was a perfect engineering job but limited pay increases. Engineering helps you learn that 2+2=4, reality is what it is. I connected with sales reps who had good information to back good products many times making my designs superior. These reps were happy and making good money, hello new career. Industrial Snap On Tools rep first sales job. Zero sales skills but their lengthy sales manual had been ranked number one for the last 10 years by the Wall Street Journal. Study practice study practice study practice.

I discovered the most successful sales reps I encountered were Independent Manufacturer’s Sales reps. Independent fit my entrepreneurial spirit. I had raced and loved cars, so I hooked up with a manufacturer of Automotive repair equipment. Added lines, plus the industry streamlined their marketing into distributors so I added equipment like forklifts and storage buildings not to mention employees that included well paid and trained salespeople. Our machinery was state of the art, but you learn from engineering that value and efficiency justify costs, simple math.

Luckily my CPA, with a national reputation, was also a choir boy, and taught me accounting and guided my capitalization of the business growth and a ton of business education. Sold business to one of my main manufacturers, they wanted to go to school as my market share was 3 to 4 times their market share. I loved business and needed a job, no longer as a business owner, so I became a business broker. Attended multiple seminars on business valuation. Relocated to Jacksonville FL as business broker and added selling, designing, and building highly efficient state of the art start up self-service laundries for investors. My business partner died, and his part of the business wasn't much fun, also the distributor I bought all my laundry equipment had sold and the replacement owner wasn't suitable to work with, so I retired. Retirement doesn’t work for me. Did light business consulting, helped former clients retire and sell their businesses, additionally ran a crew installing advertising pieces not great income, but I like being paid to exercise.

Costs go up so I started searching for a new business to better utilize my skills. Found Mom & Pop and their refreshing system for getting quick unsecured business funding and became an ISO. I like helping business owners succeed, good business model too as clients remember who helped them.

My hobbies are surfing in the ocean using a kayak. Virtual racing online with a wheel and pedals and a VR headset shockingly like actual auto racing but much cheaper and less deadly. You race people from all over the world.

My Apple watch says it burns about 500 calories an hour driving 200mph race cars on the Germany Nuremberg track, not as much as kayak surfing, but my age shies me away from big surf and winter surf because nobody is on the beach to save you from drowning. Also, hobbies in music and creating Art.

I look forward to working with you!

Thank You,
